These Terms & Conditions govern the use, disclosure, and protection of personal and sensitive data by Rajpipla Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd. (“the Bank”). By interacting with the Bank through its services, digital platforms, or branches, customers agree to the following terms:
1. Data Collection & Usage
- To provide and enhance banking services

- For authentication and fraud prevention
- For official communication and customer service
2. Definitions
a. Personal Information: Any data that relates to an individual and is capable of identifying them either directly or in combination with other information.
b. Sensitive Personal Data or Information includes:
- Passwords
- Bank account or payment card details
- Health-related information
- Sexual orientation
- Medical history or biometric data
- Information shared for availing banking services
- Data processed under lawful contract
Note: Publicly available information or data accessible under the Right to Information Act, 2005, is not considered sensitive.
3. Applicability
- All customers of the Bank
- Data collected via digital channels (website, apps, emails)
- Data collected at physical branches
- Any interaction that results in the collection of personal or sensitive data
4. Data Authenticity
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of personal information submitted to the Bank. The Bank is not liable for any inaccuracies.
5. Disclosure of Information
The Bank may disclose personal data only under the following circumstances:
- With prior written consent from the customer
- When required by law or legal process
- To third-party service providers on a “need-to-know” basis, with confidentiality safeguards
6. Security Practices
The Bank takes reasonable security measures to protect customer data, including:
- Physical security of data storage
- Electronic encryption standards
- Firewalls and access control mechanisms
- Employee training on data confidentiality
- Regular updates to security protocols
7. Use of Cookies
Digital platforms of the Bank may use cookies for:
- Personalizing user experience
- Remembering preferences and login sessions
- Gathering anonymized analytics data
Customers can manage or disable cookies through browser settings. The Bank is not liable for third-party cookies set by external websites.
8. Grievance Redressal
For queries or concerns related to your data or the application of these Terms & Conditions, customers can contact the Bank via the official website or visit the nearest branch.
9. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions are subject to revision. The latest version will always be available on the Bank’s website.

SMS Service – Terms & Conditions
By subscribing to the SMS Alert service, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Charges
The customer agrees to pay any service charges or fees that may be levied by the Bank for providing SMS services, either now or in the future.
2. Third-Party Network Disclaimer
The SMS alerts are transmitted over networks maintained by third-party mobile service providers. The Bank shall not be held responsible for any data leakage, delay, or failure of alerts caused due to lapses or issues from mobile network providers.
3. Responsibility for Updated Information
The customer is solely responsible for notifying the Bank in writing of any changes, deactivation, or cancellation of their registered mobile number or related contact information. The Bank shall not be liable for consequences arising from outdated or incorrect contact details.
4. Right to Withdraw Service
The Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS service at any time without prior notice and without assigning any reason.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Bank shall not be liable for any direct or indirect financial loss, damages, or inconvenience arising from:
- Delays in SMS delivery
- Non-receipt of alerts
- Technical errors in transmission
- Any other system-related issues beyond the Bank’s control
Declaration by Customer
I/We understand and agree that the SMS Alert service operates over mobile networks provided by third-party service providers. I/We shall not hold Rajpipla Nagrik Sahakari Bank responsible for any failure or delay in the SMS services caused due to network issues or external technical faults.
I/We have read and understood the Terms & Conditions of the SMS service and agree to abide by them. The information provided by me/us is true and accurate to the best of my/our knowledge.

Savings / Current Account – Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all cheques, bills, hundis, and other instruments (with or without accompanying documents or share certificates) submitted by account holders for collection, discounting, or purchase by the Bank.
1. Authorization & Appointment of Agents
- The Bank may, at its sole discretion but entirely at the customer’s risk and responsibility, appoint an agent to collect any cheques, bills, hundis, or other instruments submitted.
- Any such agent, including the drawee or any intermediary, will be deemed to act solely on behalf of the customer and not the Bank.
2. Transmission of Instruments
- Instruments may be transmitted via post, courier, or any other method—including direct dispatch to the drawee.
- All risks associated with transmission, including loss, delay, misdelivery, or damage, shall be borne solely by the customer.
3. Exchange for Non-Cash Instruments
- The Bank or its agents may, at their discretion, accept payment in the form of cheques, bank drafts, or other payment instruments in lieu of cash.
- Any such payment instruments are accepted at the customer’s risk, and the Bank is not liable for loss, delay, or dishonor.
4. Collection of Non-Standard Instruments
- If a payment instrument received in exchange for a discounted or purchased item is not collectible via normal banking channels, it may be collected through alternative means at the customer’s entire risk.
- All such agents involved in alternative collection methods, including the drawee, shall be considered agents of the customer.
5. Security for Advances
- All instruments submitted for discount or purchase, along with any associated goods or documents, will be held as continuing security for:
- The payment of those specific instruments, and
- Any other liabilities (present or future) of the customer to the Bank.
- The Bank is entitled to act as if it is the owner of any goods or shares related to such instruments and may sell, insure, warehouse, or otherwise deal with them at its discretion.
6. Non-Delivery Against Payment
The Bank is under no obligation to deliver any share certificates, goods, or documents related to such instruments unless payment is received in full.
7. Statement of Account
The Bank’s records of transactions, including account of sale and expense statements, shall be considered final and conclusive and binding on the customer.
8. Risk & Indemnity
The customer bears full risk for any of the following occurrences:
- Loss or damage during transmission (by post, courier, air, sea, telegram, cable, etc.)
- Errors or omissions including telegraphic/cable mistakes, misreading, or mutilation
- Damage to share certificates or goods during transit
- Alteration or mutilation of instruments or associated documents
- Loss or delay in transmission or communication of payment or collection advices
The customer hereby indemnifies the Bank and its agents against all such risks and losses.
9. Waiver of Presentment & Notice
- The customer waives:
- Presentment for acceptance and/or payment, and
- Notice of dishonor (for non-acceptance or non-payment).
- The customer agrees to make payment upon demand without requiring further formalities.
10. Binding Nature of Terms
- These terms will remain binding:
- Regardless of changes in the name, constitution, or style of the account holder(s)
- In the event of death of one or more account holders
- Unless otherwise notified in writing by the customer and accepted by the Bank

Mobile & Net Banking – Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
- Applicant: Account holder applying for Mobile/Net Banking.
- Primary Account: First account linked to the facility.
- Customer: Holder of an account with Rajpipla Nagrik Sahakari Bank.
- Facility: Mobile Banking (via app).
- OTP: One-Time Password sent to the registered mobile for authentication.
- IMPS/NEFT/IFT: Interbank/Intra-bank fund transfer services.
2. Eligibility
- Available to Savings, Current, CC/OD, and Loan account holders (except minors).
- Joint Accounts: “Either or Survivor” mode requires consent of all holders.
- Firms/Companies: Require authority letters/resolutions from partners/directors.
3. Registration & Access
- Single application form for both Mobile & Net Banking.
- Common User ID and Password for both services.
- Login blocked after 3 incorrect password attempts; reset allowed after 30 minutes.
4. Security & Responsibilities
- Customer Must:
- Keep login credentials, OTP, and mobile device secure.
- Notify branch immediately if mobile is lost/stolen.
- Use only registered mobile number for transactions.
- Bank’s Role:
- Authenticates transactions via OTP/password.
- Reserves right to block access for security/maintenance without prior notice.
5. Usage Rules
- Transactions are irrevocable once executed.
- OTP mandatory for financial transactions.
- SMS/email alerts will be sent for all transactions.
- Customer liable for losses due to negligence (e.g., sharing OTP).
6. Service Termination
- Automatically terminated if primary account is closed.
- Bank may suspend services for violations, legal requirements, or fraud.
- Customer may request termination via branch submission.
7. Liability & Disclaimers
- Bank not responsible for:
- Network failures/delays in OTP delivery.
- Transactions initiated post-credential compromise.
- Incompatibility with customer’s device/software.
- Customer indemnifies bank against unauthorized access/misuse.
8. Modifications
Bank may revise terms, limits, or services; updates will be notified via website.
9. Grievance Redressal
Complaints to be raised via branch/helpline/email. Escalate to RBI Ombudsman if unresolved in 30 days.

ATM cum Debit Card – Terms & Conditions
Rajpipla Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd.
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Debit‑cum‑ATM Card issued by the Bank.
1. Definitions
- Bank: Rajpipla Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd.
- Card: Debit‑cum‑ATM Card issued by the Bank.
- Cardholder: The customer to whom the Card is issued.
2. Card Ownership & Usage
- The card remains the property of the Bank and must be returned immediately upon request.
- The Bank may cancel, suspend, or withdraw the card at its discretion without assigning any reason.
- The card is strictly non‑transferable and may be used only by the cardholder.
3. Personal Identification Number (PIN)
The cardholder is solely responsible for keeping the PIN confidential; the Bank will not be liable for misuse resulting from PIN disclosure.
- The PIN must never be written down or stored in a form that could allow unauthorized access.
- Changing the PIN, replacing the card, or revising limits does not constitute a new contract with the Bank.
4. Loss or Theft of Card
- Once reported lost/stolen, the Bank will hot‑list the card. Any transactions prior to hot‑listing remain the cardholder’s responsibility.
- The Bank is not liable for unauthorized transactions before official report and deactivation.
5. Account Debit Authorization
- The cardholder authorizes the Bank to debit their account for all ATM/POS transactions, fees, and charges.
- Bank records of such transactions are final and binding.
6. Transaction Records
- ATM transaction slips are conclusive unless proven otherwise.
- Cash/cheque deposits will be verified by two Bank officials; discrepancies will be communicated.
- Cheques, drafts, etc., are handled per the Bank’s standard collection or credit terms.
7. ATM Usage Guidelines
- Transactions may be done at any ATM with the correct PIN.
- Daily withdrawal limits apply as notified by the Bank.
- The cardholder must ensure sufficient account balance.
- Retain transaction slips for reconciliation.
8. POS & Merchant Transactions
- Debit cards are accepted at merchants displaying the RuPay logo.
- At merchants, the customer must enter PIN and sign the charge slip after verifying the amount.
- Additional charges (petrol pumps, railway counters, etc.) will be debited accordingly.
- Internet transactions are allowed only via RuPay PaySecure registered cards.
9. Validity of the Card
Expired cards used at ATMs may be rejected or retained.
10. Range of Services Available
- Balance Enquiry
- Mini Statement (last 5 transactions)
- (Deposits not currently available)
11. Fees and Charges
- Annual/renewal fees are debited automatically and are non‑refundable.
- The cardholder must maintain the minimum balance as specified.
- Additional charges may apply for reissue, POS usage, ATM transactions, etc.
- All taxes, duties, and third‑party network fees are borne by the cardholder.
12. Account Closure / Surrender of Card
Submit a written request or fill the “ATM Deactivation Form” to surrender the card.
13. Lost Card Notification Procedure
- Notify the issuing branch in writing, or
- Send an SMS from your registered mobile number as per Section 4.
14. Security Caution for Cardholders
Do not share card details, PIN, CVV, OTP, or card number with anyone. The Bank is not liable for losses due to negligence or disclosure by the customer.
15. Amendments
The Bank reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or introduce new features at any time. Customers will be informed of any changes.
